Should you have a golf fitness program?

Many people who enjoy the game of golf neglect to think about a golf fitness program. Such a fitness program geared for golf can make you a better player and can be the difference between the painful and crappy golf you are playing now or optimized golf to the fullest of your potential. A golf fitness program is nothing to be sneezed at.

Why not consider a golf fitness program to play you best golf when you know how much your body is worked up during your game play. We all know how much our body swings and how much our arms and knees and legs have to work for us to play golf, why should we not consider a golf fitness program that will help us excel and stay strong and flexible.

Good golf fitness program should consist of of strength, flexibility, endurance and even nutrition. Then again that's true for any fitness program so be as golf specific in these training as you can.

The challenging part is starting a good golf fitness program. It's not as hard as you would expect. It will not involve hours of training everday of the week. Seriously who has time to devote like that for a fitness program? Not me!

You can start with exercise tubing, exercise ball and some dumbells. Take the exercise tubing and make downswings everyday at your office door. You can take any free time at the office to keep yourself in good shape for golf. One should be aware of his or her limitations while creating a golf fitness program, but doing few simple exercises a day will improve your golfing without you even noticing any real work.

You need to focus on what to concentrate to create your golf fintness program and not waste time doing streches and exercises not needed.

So be creative in creating your fitness program for golf and keep doing a few a day and you'll be in shape to play great golf.
