Golf balance has got to be the most overlooked fundamental of a golf swing. The most important aspect for blance during your swing is your physical condition. Your physical shape has a huge impact on your ability to maintain balance, stability and body control during your swing.

An improvement in your golf specific strength and flexibility in your golfing muscles help your with a better chance at maintaining balance and hitting more solid golf shots. A dynamic golf posture takes a higher level of golf specific fitness, which most golfers don't have. You may never have that perfect shot unless your golf specific fitness is superb.

Golf balance is especially important in the setup of your golf game. Proper balance can not be gained during your swing if it is not there during setup. Two forms of balance can be seen.

Side to side balance during golfing and front to back balance. Move you weight around from feet to feet prior to swinging your golf club to check your balance. Find your balance and move away or towards the ball as necessary. Do not worry if this takes time, setting up should take the most amount of time during your golf play. When you watch professional golf on TV don't you see the pros speding quite a bit of time setting up before they finally take a swing. By being watchful of your golf balance, you will improve your consistency and increase the number of great shots on the ball. This should help you score better and enjoy the game of golf even more.
